Led taillights!!

Hey guys! Just gauging interest in these. A few ppl seemed interested but nothin solid. But they're gettin some hype. I'm tying to start up a little business for some extra cash making custom LED taillights. Here are some pictures of a couple projects!

The pictures really don't do these guys any justice!!
If you want to order a set they don't have to be this design. There a ton of possibilities!

Here's a simple setup I'm doing for my teammates FC rx7

I don have any s-chassis lights made up at the moment but send me a core and I can make something wicked!
If anyone is interested hit me up!
My business email is
[email protected]
Looking forward to doing business with you!
Thanks for your time!

-Kian

2 things.

A better quality camera for pics of LED lights, these look kind of washed out and does not show the detail you are going for.

and "testing waters" is fine if you want to start taking orders

On my old s2000 forum there was a guy doing them for a decent price. Since its an individual and not a business it may actually be reasonable.

I just did this:

Dmax S13 hatch tails from Japan with center garnish.

Took the tails to a painter who applied VHT Night Shade and clear coat. Wet sanded and buffed.

Loaded with SuperBrightLEDs.com single 3w red 1157 bulbs, triple 1w 1156 yellow turn signal bulbs and focused 3w 1157s for reverse lights. These are not eBay garbage; they are about $18 each bulb so doing all the rear bulbs was about $130. Tested against the stock bulbs, they were at least twice as bright.

I didn't like the top lip of the tails/garnish, so I vinyl wrapped them with 3M Di-Noc gloss carbon

blacked out shot:

lit up shot with turn signal flashing:

carbon wrap for the top:

The photos don't show that the turn signal bulbs normally have 3 1w LEDs as visible, giving it a small LED look. The other brake/tail bulbs were a single high power LED.

And for further mention, my front turn signals have 1157 bulbs with focus lenses on them, to make them practically into driving lights. Now, all the lights on my car are practically far brighter than stock while consuming a fraction of OEM bulb power. That's useful, since I only run a small racing battery as seen in the last pic, with a high output 105amp Altima alternator on my SR
