Every new game I was looking forward to in the past two years was a big disappointment. Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, SWTOR, etc. I do not get my hopes up anymore. And if it will be first person, I already know I will not like it.
Ironically, my favorite game of 2012 was Resonance, a retro adventure I never even heard of until I came across it by chance.

The trick to installing it is using the 1.60 patch even if you have a newer version of Arma 2, because it contains the 'lite' textures that DayZ requires.

My favorite aspect of the game is that it is hardmode and one can do anything in it.
A funny thing is to play creepy sound clips or say messed up stuff while stalking unsuspecting players, since the microphone can be heard by everyone within hearing range.

If you like hard mode rpg's you should try haven and hearth, being eastern European you should fit right in.

I was waiting for this thread to pop up. But I play pretty often, I downloaded a program called dayz commander and it gives you a shit load of servers to choose from and you can update everything and download new maps through it as well.

If anyone wants to team up and kill some zombies and bandits send me a message!

Have you had any issues with the DayZ Commander? I used it for a while, but sometimes it would mess up when installing mods and updates.
I have been playing through Play withSIX, only because it is officially supported. Though it seems the DZ Commander has gone a long way since I used it.

I played dayz for a bit in 2012, pretty fun. Hate playing at night because its just too dam dark lol. I remember making it to a city, climbing into the top of the roof around sundown, and laying down, than i some how got too close to the edge and fell off, wounding myself and trying to get around like that lol
