STOLEN: 1993 240sx jdm front turn signals

happened at about february 10th. i live in san diego, mira mesa and close to maddox park, for ya'll who know where thats at. i own a '93 nissan 240sx. the only jdm part i had on it were the turn signals.


so if you guys find out anyone who recently got jdm 240sx/silvia turn signals or just claims that they bought them, let them know whats up and help san diego be cleared of thefts. no one likes em, everyone hates em. fyi, the signals are half clear and half orange, unlike the usdm signals that are solid orange.

That's the second theft of those specific signals occurring in Mira Mesa I know of.

Sorry to hear about your loss, but be thankful they only took a liking to your signals and not your whole car.
Just a tip anti theft screws are avalible at Mcmasters Car or Grainger only a couple of pennies to save your JDM stuff.

haha you won't find them most likely. that sucks about your lost. but your chances of getting them are slim, pretty much most front clips that come over from j-land come with them. very unlikely to find them. fraz does have a point about getting rid of the phillips or flathead screws.

damn, i was worried about that shit the other day too, those things are easy as hell to jack and I was wondering what I can do as far as anti theft goes.... hmm sorry to hear that, but hey you can always find them on here for like $40 something for the pair, big ass difference from the average $125 retail price

and you're point is? a theft is a theft, and those were mine. if someone jacked yours, i bet you'd be agitated as well. you'd not only lose your set, but pay more for replacements. its like someone taking 50 bucks right out of your wallet. i bet you'd think differently.

The dude lives in Chico that's asking about them, that's like wayyyyy Northern California. Mira Mesa is pretty far down south near San Diego. Unless this guy just bought them from someone down in San Diego, I doubt he traveled over 10 hours for some JDM turn signals.

whao i see that my post was mentioned in here...well i bought mine off ebay. and the dude was from nevada so yeah. i guess ill email the guy to see where he got it from. but i highly doubt that he would come into cali and steal some parts then go to nevada and sell them back to cali ppl. i was going to post yesterday that you guys might suspect it was me because i posted about the turn signal lights too. so just to clear things up i dont steal stuff. im too scared.

they didnt cut it. its a clean disconnect from the rest of the wiring.

can anyone give me information about mcmaster and graingers for the anti-theft stuff? im considering replacing them and securing the new ones.

http://www.mcmaster.com/ In the search type "security screws" there are pages of them. They ussually come in a pack of 25, but then you could hook up your friends or sell some here on Zilvia. Make sure to buy the tool also ...lol

I get mad when I see people peeking in my windows or touching my car. If I'm watching out the window at work or at a store or something and see people touching my car or taking pictures of it (some guy took pictures with his cell phone once) I get a little nervous. It only takes a somewhat skilled theif 30 seconds to swipe a pair of turn signals.
