amber/white chuki signal light harness

anyone know where to get the chuki amber/white signal light harness? i just got some lens for 30 bucks and need the harness/wire to get them up and running. i thought it was just gunna be a direct swap with the US signal lights, but the amber/white ones has two slots for two bulbs. so now im in search of the wiring.

You unplug your corner light and plug in the JDM one.

Go to AutoZone and buy two 194 sockets. You can either....

1. Splice the corner lamp (fender lens) and run it to the clear half. This way you'll run both the fender lights and the clear half lights.

or...

2. Get some outdoor speaker cable and run the new sockets to the cigarette lighter circuit. This way when you turn the key they will come one, sorta like driving lights. I did this for 6-7 months with no problems when I had my Chukis.

Your USDM amber socket should fit like a glove if I remember right.

you buy the harness or pull it from a junk yard. then just splice it in. the white is running light, the amber is signal. you can wire it up to your liking.

btw, it's spelled vtec not vtech. vtech is a home phone company.

yeah i figured out when installed the JDM one but then the USDM doesnt have a second slot for the white side and was just wondering how to get it to work. so yeah ima have to slice up some wires so that the white side would work. i want the white side to signal and the amber side to light up only.

ps my bad i will go and change it to vtec not vtech...i dont wanna loose hp but swaping in a phone motor

Seriously, you should consider trimming down that sig, mods don't like it when they take up so much real estate.

figured my problem out a long time ago but im bored and felt like posting how i did it.

i went to junk yard and took some 194 sockets from a car that had them (look for cars with two tone signals similar to the JDM one, i forgot which car i took mine off of but i think MKIII supras might work). wires were still connected so that was good (RED and BLACK wire)

came home, took off lenses, and looked at stock USDM wiring

there r 3 wires, BLACK, GREEN, AND GREEN/YELLOW. i think BLACK might be ground (if there is any), GREEN is for the parking lights (stays on), and GREEN/YELLOW is for signal lights(blinker).

so i connected the BLACK to the BLACK and the RED to the GREEN/YELLOW so that the white side of my JDM lights would signal and the amber side would stay lit. if u want it reversed (white stay on and amber signal) connect the RED (or whatever color it is, other than BLACK) to the GREEN wire.

hopes this helps other ppl who dont have the JDM harness. the end.

dont have pic but have ghetto mspaint version of it:

um.. the white one doesn't blink; it's the running lights.
the amber one blink; it's the signal light.

well the JDM harness makes the AMBER signal and the CLEAR stay on. i wanted the reverse, AMBER TO STAY ON and the CLEAR TO BLINK. thats why i did it like that. and yeah these r plug and play if u have the JDM harness. if not USDM have only one slot (one bulb), while the JDM lenses have two bulbs (two slots) to fill in. so u have to do what i did to get the CLEAR side working cuz the USDM has only one bulb which will fit in directly into the JDM slot(AMBER SIDE)

this is slightly off-topic, but does anyone know if there is a way to get the amber part of s13 coupe taillights to stay lit as a parking light and still work as blinkers?

harness

You can always call Courtesy Nissan Parts to find out if they can just sell you the harness. It's a plug and play.
