Rear wiper mod on S14?

Has anyone done a rear wiper mod on their S14? I really want one but I've been searching and can't find anyone who's done it.

My idea would be find a JDM S14(yeah right) or USDM EVO wiper and have a windshield shop cut a hole for it, then wire it up myself.

Anyone got better or cheaper rear wiper ideas?

I don't suggest cutting the hoel in the glass. I would just be too worried of it cracking.

just use rain-ex...its cheaper

unless you want it for the look, then just use a stapler or duct tape.

Rain-X is a good idea, but i really want it because I hate not being able to see out the rear when there are drops all over it, I just think it isn't safe.

It seems like SUVs and minivans are the only vehicles that get rear wipers here, but it really makes sense for cars too.

I hadn't thought about what it would cost to replace it if the galss cracked, probably a lot with the defroster and all.

Oh well, rain-x it will have to be....

actually they did get rear wipers in japan. just not on all S14s. guess it was an option since its on both kouki and zenki models.
and

even if u did the mod, after u throw some rain-ex on it, ull end up not needing it anyways =P rain-ex is awesome, except at low speeds that is.

Rear glass is about $780 retail from the dealer. You can't cut/drill a hole in it since it's standard auto glass and shatters on impact, the suggestion to try that is absolutely fucking retarded.

As for the UK/JDM parts, everything bolts right in and you'll just need to wire it, it's simple for those with a brain and an FSM, though I have to agree with others, it's looks like shit and a bottle of RainX costs a whole lot less.
