I did it myself, it was not hard. pretty straight forward. trace a stencil of teh JDM firewall. make sure its accurately traced back to your Fire wall. MAke the holes. WEld the brakets, CLose the old Holes (I used sheet metal, silicone and Rivits) Repaint the firewall. and Mount everithing. you need

JDM Steering column, Steering rack, powersteering lines, LAder bar, Interior Heater and AC boxes, the interior Harness, all the Switches, Dash, Glove box, Kickpanels, Center console, Radio Trim, Coin Box, and Door panels.

my 180 is rhd there quite few over here in the bahamas too ,gotta love it. if u want lhd u can drive lhd if u want rhd u can drive rhd. no crazy emission laws or safety laws bout chassis restraints etc. got alot of skylines over here too. but the are pretty much overrated in my opinion especially the r32 rb20det gts-t sr20's stay puttin them in there place, behind us. the best motor for the rb wud be a 25 best all around. I got a friend wit one in a 180 and runs 7.2 in the 1/8 and still has room for improvement. If you wanna see sum of the cars in the bahamas check out web site. http://www.bahamaimports.com

bardabe, you used the LHD firewall and drilled holes for RHD steering, brake booster, and clutch? ghetto =X
are your wippers LHD still? If you're going to do a conversion atleast do it correctly with a firewall swap. but rhd is useless anyways in the states. unless you want bling factor

Yeha I did it for the bling factor. I covered up the holes with Sheetmetal and Rivots so it looks pretty cool. as we all know Rivots look cool. ha ha. but uhm I didn't install the Heater or AC as I was too lazy and didn't feel like doing it. plus I don;t have the AC compresosr for my SR. but the main reason I did it was cause I wanted to have a complete conversion (I already have the Body panels and the Motor hell why not just go RHD as well.) My Wipers are Still USDMD tho gonna convert those soon too. should not be hard. just haven;t gotten down to it. (no need for em yet)

Cars are all spot welded. you just drill them out on the firewall and use an air hammer to get it fully out. i've done it a few times. That's how body panels and stuff are fixed at auto body shops.

Yea I took a look at my firewall and it's a big piece of metal that is spot welded about every 6 inches. I don't know how it is under the seam sealer though.
