Buddy Club Spec II and CS Downpipe ownpipe + O2 Elbow Extension

Hi guys,

i'm searching for a new exhaust for my RPS13 because im not satiesfied with my SSA one as it sits to deep for my taste and is scratching sometimes on the road. Could you recommend me the Buddy Club Spec 2 ? Will the Spec 2 sit higher compared to the SSA one ?

One other problem is my downpipe it is sitting to deep too and i was thinking of getting the Circuit Sports Downpipe + O2 Elbow Extension, can somebody recommend that item ?

Would be thankful for replys.

Greets

Buddy Club Spec II is a excellent exhaust flow wise and ground clearance wise.It hugs the underside of your car! The only reason I sold mine is because on the street it was way to loud with my RB.

i would recommend getting a cheap 3-inch downpipe, cutting it, and welding it so that it sits a little higher.

The thing is that i have a flexpipe welded in my downpipe right after the curve, the flex pipe is much larger then 3". Because the flex pipe was hitting the body of my car i welded the downpipe to sit lower, giving the flexpipe more room. Thats why i lost ~3 cm of ground clearance.

Getting a spec two will help a little, but it won't solve the problem. The problem is obviously in your downpipe. I would consider purchasing a Megan Reacing downpipe with the flex section first and then see how it sits. If it is still too low, then a spec II will help even more.

Wow that car is quiet for a buddy club... I guess manifold makes a big diff with this exhaust. My car sounds completely different and louder with the spec II. That car sounds like my car used to.

The red car has a spec II, tubular manifold, and gt2540 with external dump, sounds closer to my car except on mine it gets louder on boost.

no... dont, i repeat, dont get the megan downpipe w/ flex peice. is sucks balls. i have that one, and being slammed on 15's makes it even suck more balls. imo, it has one of the worse ground clearance available. i already have a hole in the flex peice for scratching shit up. i sometimes even scratch the street when i do 3 point turns on narrow humpy streets. i also hit freeway marks too...

i do however recommend CS downpipe. its pricey, but when you think about it, turbo elbows + 3" downpipes cost about the same together
