blow by into exhaust

I have seen a couple RB guys and some 2JZ guys use a 1way check valve that gets routed from the VC to the DP.

The idea is great, the exhaust gases, suck in VC gas, there is no need for a catch can, it helps increase compression by expanding on the piston rings, but the only con or downside that i have thought of is the fact that there would be oil vapor in the exhaust and in return could damage O2 sensors.

The amount of oil should be very minimal, but what kind of affect will it have.

Anyone here do this?

Thanks

i have indeed seen that image, its been a while though.

Well in this case the O2 sensor is before the valves.

I guess this could be debated, as to where to install the valve, and how well the exhaust will still 'suck in'

I guess if you installed the valve about 18" or down the dp and had your O2 sensors before hand, you would be fine.

Anyone have some tech talk or experience on this.

Thanks for the pic

i did go to the site and read through, there is a chance that i missed a couple posts about the effects of oil with the sensors.

I will go back and re-read.

S14 Sr is fine with a stock setup. No need to get all fancy.

KA's are different. I just saw the 1-way check valve on my friend's car yesterday. It was very, very nice.

Just run the hose past the O2 sensor(s).
