s14 ka downpipe similarities?

i have an s14 trust header (4-1) for my s13.

i wanted to know if any aftermarket downpipe for an sr20 would fit, as there are few options for s14 ka downpipes.

also, i heard that the s14 header and downpipe would fit on an s13, just wanted to confirm this.

thanks!

I haven't checked it my self but the s14 header should fit. a Ka24de is a ka24de no matter what it is in, and the engine mounts are the same. The only thing might be your down pipe length might change.

S14 has 4-1 deal from factory going into single downpipe using 3hole gasket
S13 has a 4-2 exh manifold that goes into 2-1 downpipe section.

The reason why its called S14 header is that S13 guys won't be able to use it WITHOUT changing their downpipe as well. BUT replace both and it will fit S13/S14.

Hope that makes sense

You can also use an SR downpipe on an S14 exhaust manifold (or the replacement Greddy style header) but the rear flange is rotated a bit, so you'll need a cat or test pipe with floating flanges.

What about a KA down pipe on the stock s14 manifold..will you neet the floating flange setup. Cause I was thinking of the fr-sport catco cat option that has the flanges and all.

Sorry to thread jack, but its all kinda related

OE? It bolts right up. There isn't any aftermarket KA downpipe only that I'm aware of.
