Tell me if these are the right connectors, pictures

alright before i get started let me say please dont flame me, i searched and found countless tutorials and such but im just posting pictures to make sure before i solder today

im doing a s14 ka24de in a sohc s13 chassis, i'm keeping the s14 engine control harness and trying to link to the dash harness of the s13 i got s14 dash connector from a spare harness and a took the old connector from the s13 ec harness so as to pig tail it instead of cutting into anything major

now from my understanding the colors should match up

are those the right connectors

will that get the engine started, i know i have to run wire to the secondary fuse box in the s13, but is that enough to see if im running okay

S14 to S13 is never easy because of the different wire locations in the engine bay. Do you know anyone personally that has done this that can help you out?

yes but distant, thats why im turning to you guys so steer me in the right direction from my understanding theres only about 5 wires that will make the car run properly all the others is for clusters and junk

but all im worrying about right now is the link to the s13 dash harness so i can get it started everything else can wait

Several people do. But most of us don't appreciate new kids asking remedial questions when they can actually research the question and learn on their own.

I'll give you a hint though, it's the same wire colors that are needed for an S13 DOHC.

Oh, good luck with the A/C too. You should have used a S13 harness and been done with it three weeks ago.

i started today, and i did find alot of stuff on it, just not any clear cut guides, i was just asking, i never found a true clear cut anwser but as to this im almost done with it, i just have to repin a few connectors tommorow from a s13 ec harness......hopefully get it done tommorow running wise and pull it into friends shop to slap on a vlsd out of s14 laying around

and yes i did realize it was the same color wires need, but im just trying to do it the cleanest way possible and cheapest i might add as i had the s14 ka, harness, and ecu before hand, cheapest way just a extra days of work i guess you could say

The whole 'colors matching' thing is from a S13 SOHC -> S13 DOHC conversion. I don't know about S14 wiring.
