S13/S14 Tie rods interchangeable?

I have a brand new set of Tien Inner/Outer tie rods with spacers for S13, but sold my s13 and now own another s14.

Does anyone know if these tie rods will work on my S14?

I've tried searching, with no definitive answer. Thanks in advance for the help!

The part that bolts up to the steering rack is the same.

But the s13/14 outters are different threads.

Then how are people running s13 TR's in s14s? is there some kind of rig or mod?

s14's are just a bit beefier, you can only use s14 tie rod ends with the teins, not the s13's. and they're interchangeable on the racks.

If you're using s13 inners, use s13 outters. If you're using s14 inners, use s14 outters.

Good lord what a cluster fuck of bad info.

S13 tie rods are a smaller diameter than S14/Z32, therefore the rod end is as well. If you have both the tie rod and the tie rod end you can swap them both as a set between chassis. If you only have one part of the setup, you cannot.

S13 -> S13
S14 -> S14

+1 to Russ(As if he needed it).

You can't inter-mix the S13 and S14 tie rods on the same car. The diameters are different. Like he said, get ALL S13 or ALL S14.

Don't forget, a lot of aftermarket inner and outer tie rods (such as the Tein ones) are interchangeable with S14 parts.

Zar, you probably want to correct your post so people don't get confused. The last sentence should be "If you're using s13 inners, use s13 outers."

from my understanding the Tein components are exactly the same between both chassis.. so if he has both Tein inner/outer rods as he stated it would cross over fine.

If they were OEM then yes both inner/outer need to be specific to each other.

exactly.. just wanted to clear it up.. so the OP doesnt get confused.

his question was if the Teins would crossover.. yes they would... chassis doesnt matter as its the same for both.
