i have had their exhaust for over 9 months.. it sounds just as good as it did brand new. It fit pretty damn perfect and has held through the winter without rust. Welds were great too. If i were you, i'd jump on it!

Exhaust vs suspension arms are two different things, if a suspension arm craps out, then your not as screwed as say a hanger breaking on your exhaust. Id wait for a few guinea pigs to try it out first

Eidt: What he said^

Big difference between an exhaust and the components that keep you chassis attached your wheels and on the road.

I will have a nice reponse to this question when I get home to my pictures.

Lemme ask you a couple of things.

Do you like receiving brand new rusted parts?

Do you like living?

Are you a sub-par person?

Can you save money?

Do you want children in your lifetime?

Get the point. Save up, buy SPL and enjoy a worry-free suspension. It's really not worth. I'll post pics later.

What would crap out on their suspension components? That material they use looks pretty damn beefy to me and like I said before, their welds have increased in quality substantially. Let him be the first guinea pig.

Honestly, please stop comparing apples to oranges. Apples to apples, these are fuckin rotten as hell. Judge a book by its contents NOT by its cover. Their wall thickness is like .149 inches. When you bang them together, you get a higher note than the 3 tenors. I was peeking at the bottom of their toe rod and I saw a spec of light = bad welds. I will be sending them a nice long email describing my experience with these parts.

Thanks for playing. You have won!!!

My only other consideration for suspension arms would be powertrix.

I have the TC rods- held up superb and can knock you out cold. Plus they protect their joints.

I bought the SSAC suspension kit towards the end of June. I've daily driven it along with 2 drift events. Then I went to a drift event yesterday and was comin around the bank noticed something wasn't right. Pulled back in the pit and took a look.

you should try contacting them so they can improve thier product or bitch at em to replace it.. but they might try to say "not for racing application or you probably hit something"

Looks like thier arm cant stand binding.. maybe thats what happened..

I don't think it was binding. I greased up the balljoint before I put it on and when I checked yesterday it still moved very easily.

binding does make things break. but the joint is clearly not frozen (or even remotely rusty) in that picture. bind can also be caused by contact... but just looking at the picture, i don't see anything that the rear traction arm could possibly hit.

stuff tends to break where it is weakest. you'd think the weak section would be the threaded section or along a weld. but i guess the arm itself is the weak link? scary.

i ve had a ssac t25/ka24de turbo mani and had it glowing red many times no problems, alot of people bitch about ssac from a couple years ago still, but motoria makes some cheap stuff, my friend has one of their exahusts.

every one has their own bad story or their friends bad story, or their friends friends bad story. the motoria shit looks really bad though, that arm being so thin if it got dented at all the dent would probally cause a weak point for all the stress to go into till it broke

SPL parts isnt much better, i got their bumpsteer eliminator tierod ends, i had to run a die over them cause they cut the threads and then chromed them. what a pain, the crome turned into little sharp needle like things and then the threads rusted right away, shit will have to come off with a torch someday if it comes off at all, their owner said he didnt know what i was tlaking about and hadnt ever had that probelm before, it was a several week wait for them(back order) then finding the right die and ordering it sucked as well. there were no directions or diagram, and it came with 6 things that i couldnt tell if they were spacers, cones, or some kinda dampening weights. couldnt figure out how or where they went, but its all together, i dont recomend SPL links/arms although the brake deflectors are cool, i like my couple kazama peices the most, and the heim joint is perfect after 3 1/2 years.

other bad stuff, older power trix arms, all mine have bad heim joints after 1 1/2 years and 10k miles, they rusted and squeeked so i blube them but they are all bound up now

Crazy to hear about the tie rod ends. I hope Kuah will take this into consideration. I mentioned the new powertrix arms because the heim joints are protected now. Sellers, please take this stuff to heart.

Here are the pics I promised. I did not want what happened to adikt happen to me.

Hellloooooooo rust

After I cut that ish open

Here is how UNSAFE the walls are

And take a look at the inside

I have an extra powertrix TC rod that I will cut open as well to compare.

People, please take this as a sincere warning. Purchase safe automotive aftermarket performance parts for your car and have them installed correctly the first time.

Now what vendor wants to hook me up with some suspension arms?!?!? I need my car up and running in less than 2 weeks.

Wishing you all the best,

Carlos Doria

He already does, every in-house link he sends out he has Corey run a tap over before it ships.

I done seen it with my own eyes.

lol, about no instructions, theres an installed picture on the SPL site.

Moving on, at the Motoria Link, .134 wall thickness, hahahah, gotta make it thin so that you can use less melted spoons to ERW into tube.
