I love posts where people are surprised to see a product that's been on the market for over two years.
As for the quality, the rod ends they use do bind easily, I've seen a few sets like that, it's the cause for the majority of damaged parts. Poor design and lack of a grease fitting were the problems on their first batch, the newer stuff is now servicable but still lack dust boots. There's just no way they'll last in the environment they're designed for. |

http://www.splparts.com/doc/SPLTieRodEnd/default.htm We have had issues with the plating on the tie rod end shanks, the plating shop put an excessive thickness of plating on the threads. We had not checked the threads but after we received the first complaint about them, we emailed everyone about the problem and sent out replacements to all customers who asked for them. We went through and checked our whole batch, and fixed those that had to be re-tapped. As for the rust that is somewhat unavoidable due to the crimped metal locking nuts we use, those nuts will always shave off the plating when they are installed. However our shanks and nuts are intended to be only installed once (like some OEM hardware), we offer replacements for a very low cost if you ever need to remove them and re-install. |

i wouldnt trust their multi link with my life...
on the other hand, i have been praising their strut bars ever since i got mine...excellent OS style design and beautiful welding...pretty damn beefy and rigid for $4X.00 a pc...no play and no preload BS... thats the ONLY susp component id run from them and strut bars arent even susp...its chassis bracing...and even then, thats the closest ill get to susp components when dealing with ssac...
