Question Cheaper not big name seat

I have searched and read many threads on seats and everyone says to just save and go for a big name seat ex: Bride, Sparco, Recaro. I am in college so thats not really an option. My question is is there any company that is kinda cheaper like under 500$ for a good seat? Looked on egay and found 1 I kinda liked. 1! So if anyone has any suggestions LMK plz cuz my stockers are ripped and look like a big bag of dick and they need to go. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have a set of used tenzo r's reclinables for sale (rally style). 200 bux for two with rails, so just bolt in. You interested? Otherwise F1Spec isn't pretty good.

are you buying the seat so you can have more holding power on the track, or so you can put another entry on your mods list?

if it's the former, get a used Recaro/bride/sparco or something, maybe a cheap GTR seat if u can find one; it depends what size you are

if it's the latter, get wutever piece of crap u want

buddy club seats are reasonable. And if you think your seats are in bad shape, let me send you a pic of mine lol. The foam is almost all gone. STUFFED THE FABRIC WITH TOWELS AND PLACED A NICE SEAT COVER OVER IT FTW!

I like the SPL seat I have, were pretty cheap too. I don't think they're selling them anymore though. MemoryFab is another good option for you. Buddy Clubs are in that price range too but I don't like them very much.

If you're looking for a reclineable, then that's a whole different story. Take a look at JIC, though I think they're about $550, but they're probably the best reclinables in that price range, way better than shitty Corbeau's...

I have an SPL bucket- its fine for the price. You can find Sparco Evos for cheap sometimes, my roomate snagged one for a good deal and its a nice seat, although his is the XL i believe and its way too big for me. I ordered a Memoryfab seat to use for my passenger seat. I can compare it (S58L, so even huge instructors/passengers can fit ) to the SPL bucket once it arrives. Should be next week.

Memory fab, buddyclub, spl.

Best bet for a baller on a budget I'd say would be a used high end seat.

Corbeau... No thanks please. That's for extreme fatties.

I was out shopping this weekend for a set of cheapo replacements for an S13 I was looking at. The previous owner had installed a set of 3A Racing seats from Pep Boys.

If you're after cheap hardcore track seats, how about Kirkeys?

Ok, so those aren't really meant for street duty (although they're more comfortable than some of the cheap POS seats I can name), and there's no mistaking them for anything but a track seat as they were meant for circle track racing where nobody looks inside the cars anyway. But they are dirt (track) cheap, with a solid aluminum shell for safety.

For cheap street oriented seats, the Scat / Procar Sportsman seats don't suck as much as the average cheap seat when it comes to comfort. They aren't as well bolstered as a race seat, though.

I bought the F1 Spec seat and they work great. They actually hold you pretty well through the corners. They are cheap and easy to install.
