Timing Question?

i know this is a dumb question but i dont know how it goes. SO HATE! Im in the process of timing my ca18det and have been searching the timing gun silver clamp where do you put it when you coil packs and not spark plug wires? thats all thanks!

On SR there is a little loop in the back. CA should have something like it as well.

Yeah the CA should be identical to the RB... Near the ignitor pack or your #4 coil there should be a black or white loop of wire sticking up out of the coilpack/ignitor harness. Use this for your inductive pickup.

If you can't find the loop for some reason you may also be able to clamp onto one of the wires going to your #1 coilpack.

I'm sure if you download the CA FSM it describes the location of the loop and timing procedure.
