ive got the buddy club ones on my car now..
S14

and i actually had JIC FLT-A2s before lol

i will say i like the buddy clubs much better..

one of the biggest reasons is the ride. the buddy clubs ride sooooo smooth, i love them..

imo they are pretty cheap w/ the price for what you get.

Ive ridden in Toby Broadfields S13 with the Racing Specs and they were very nice. Much less bouncy than Stance and my Tein Basics (obviously). He upgraded to Cusco's, but the Buddy Clubs were a very smooth ride and I liked them a lot.

Unless you have custom valving from JIC, I would sell them or just throw them away. The buddy clubs are pretty good for the money. I test drove a set that was on a s2k

Quality looks to be good, they have HQ in the US (last time I checked) with people there, which is a plus.

I have a set of older buddy club spec dampers, non adjustable valving. So old there is no adjustable preload for the 11/8 k springs, just ride height...but man they are smooth. They are a bit harsh for a street car but the dampers are great and there is no bounce. Strong and well balanced. Good product.

well...just as an update to this thread...i sold my JICs and bought a set of buddy club racing spec dampers

the buddy clubs are worth the every penny spent on em...they hold just as well as the JICs did thru turns...but ride WAAAAAAAY smoother during normal driving

the ONLY thing i did notice a difference in was i like how well put together my JICs were...now this is NOT me saying buddy clubs dampers are by ANY MEANS cheaply manufactured...quite the opposite...but anyone who has owned JICs will agree that theyre prolly one of the BEST put together coilover setup on the market

id recommend buddy clubs to ANYONE whos looking for a GREAT performing coilover setup...buddy club might make alot of honda stuff...but their S13 coilovers are AWESOME (i cant wait to take them out and beat on em all day at a track event soon...i just took a few runs around the roundabouts here in town at the top of 2nd gear...they held like fukin CHAMPS)

yea my brother was convincing me to buy the buddy club coilovers after he bought some for his rsx i really like the ride on them they are nice and smooth he even got stiffer springs then what they normally come with. but for his car its a pita to adjust ride height. They also got good customer support as well which is a plus.

you can get custom dampers from them as well...theyre called P-1s...but they start at about 3 grand a set...theyre meant for professional level cars (like JGTC and what not)

Does anyone know anything about the Junior Spec dampers? They're sold in Japan, I wasn't sure if they're the JDM version of the N+ or something. I couldn't find any info on them.
