seriously d00d put grommets on those power cables. Yes the techflex type wrap is probably enough but grommets are so cheap and easy its worth the peace of mind

That's actually been bugging me a bit too. I have grommets everywhere else, and that's the most vulnerable place because it's only on a 120Amp circuit breaker...

One interesting tidbit...

The boost and EGT gauges have been mine (more or less) since 2003.

1) I bought these new for my first real modded car, my 97 Maxima Turbo. (It was my senior design project)

2) Sold the Maxima and installed them into my RHD RB26 240SX (idk wtf I was thinking w/ this setup, lol)

3) Parted out the gauges, sold them to RyanA96, who installed them into a car I ultimately bought, an SR20 swapped 240sx coupe.

4) Sold the coupe but kept the gauges and installed them into my 06 GT35R STi

5) And now they're in my BMW...

ahh what a satisfying update. i missed reading this thread..I've been following it all along..when it's done i swear it will be like the same feeling I'd get from having a child.(good feeling).

everything is inspiring, your wiring, your refusal to half ass anything, making your own gauge holders, the works!

I was pulling parts off a tboned E36 that was sitting outside behind innovative tuning.

I plan on starting it in the next 2 weeks. I did some thinking about my master cylinder and decided that it needs to be bigger, so I think I am going to change that out before I fill it with fluids. However, this means I need to POLISH it... ugh. PITA. The last one took me like 3 or 4 hours... oh well.

Everything is looking really good. I cant tell from the picture, where is your battery located? Im guessing the trunk area.. Are you going to make a mount for the battery so you can still see the voltage readout? As for my opinion on the aluminum cluster and radio bezels. You could spray them with a texture coating then paint then to either match the dash or contrast, such as black.
