SR Noobish question on build

Ok guys,

So I've searched through a lot of people's build threads and I need some advice on building a motor for my track car. I, like many other people that beat on their engines wondered what would keep an engine reliable under high amounts of stress. I learned that SRs need to be getting plenty of oil and need to be cool.

Now, I need to know what else I can do to build the perfect reliable motor for my drift car. I was considering a complete build from top to bottom including all forged stuff in the block but is this neccesary? I've heard of people making 400+ hp with the SR on stock blocks and thats really the in the range that I'm looking for about 375-410 hp.

When it come to getting inside a motor I'm completely a noob so go easy on me. So I've been told by some people that forged internals aren't going to last as long as stock internals but aren't they stronger? Is this the case with a built head but not the block or just a theory?

I basically want to build a motor for my s13 track car (drift). I would like it to have somewhere around the 400hp range with good low-end power and have no problem being beat on. I've been thinking of dry sump, oil cooler, v-mount and anything i can to cool it, tuning of course is one of the most important things. I already have a gt28r turbo, megan turbo manifold, elbow and dp I'm basically just looking for advice on the block, stock or forged rebuild??? if forged, what brand? If stock, should anything in the block be aftermarket?

Thanks for hangin in there guys.
