And apparently since this guy can import and legalize an S15, 5k-6k for one with NO/blown motor should be no problem...
S15 with no motor or drive train would be a rolling chasis and not a car therefore not subject to legalization requirements because it is considered parts and not a car, do some research and you might find a few useful things in there (like how shit is done).

Again a Kouki S14 K's over here still goes for 8-10K, so what is the difference?? I am not going to sit here and argue about it, I am just saying that everyone thinks everything is cheaper in Japan and they don't realize that we are paying out of our assholes for the same shit they think Japanese guys just "throw away". Hell, most of us order engine parts and other things that will work from the U.S. in order to save money and still get quality, even the Japanese are starting to follow suit on that one.
Ok I really don't quite understand why you're arguing with me on anything here. I simply said, since this guy is Joe Moneybags with his "legal" S15 in the states, why doesn't he just get a chassis s15 to build his track car, and not butcher a perfectly good "legalized" s15.

It's now quite apparent his "legalized" S15 isn't truely legal. So I suppose it doesn't really matter what he does with it.

I'm also not quite understanding what you're spouting off about with jdm parts. All the aftermarket parts I've ever had or seen in the japanese market are extremely cheaper than they are stateside. Have you even been to UpGarage? For example: you can get used cusco strut bars for the s14 for around $20. Here you would be paying upwards towards $150 for a used one...

Only OEM parts are similar in price in the Japanese market as they are in the US Market.
