Water Temp Sender Radiator Hose Adaptor: correct size?
I'm installing a water temp sensor and wanted to know the correct size for the Water Temp. Sender Radiator Hose Adaptor? I've seen 35mm, 34mm, 32mm....
Planning on attaching it at the uppder radiator hose, from what i've read on the site, its more accurate than the lower one. TIA, Paul |

Its a Redtop SR in a S14 chassis.
The adaptor is an aftermarket Alum piece that attaches to the hose and hooks up with your temp sensor. http://www.prosportgauges.com/Prospo...ccessories.htm (example of one...scroll down) Thanks, Paul |

Here...
http://www.nissport.com/catalog/prod...e=Applications This is the same one I have. Works like a champ and the best place to measure would be top right radiator hose if looking at the motor from the front of vehicle. Also remember, usually the guage itself, and the temp adaptor both have to be grounded. I would also use some teflon tape when you thread your sender into the adaptor to be safe. Autometer says not to use teflon tape because it wont ground itself. I've been running mine for like 6 months now no problems... |
