is '89 s13 wiring harness the same as '92

If you are willing to repin the F1 to M53 plug in the 89 harness to work in the 92 plugs....there is not much modification you need to do.

I said your best bet was to redo the harness because you end up knowing the condition of the wiring and its circuits prior to installing it.
