If you don't know what it is, you probably can't/won't buy it.

I like it, but how does it look in the day? How well did you block off the back that goes to the dash bar?

The stock cluster is still there, just hollowed out (except for the working fuel gauge), so its blocked off pretty well i think.

I'm sure Jeff could afford it w/o a problem, so save your "I can buy more expensive parts than you can!" speech for someone else.

It's a stack Jeff.

I like that a lot! very nice. I am considering something like that for tach, fuel gauge and a/f when I get rid of stock cluster. very well executed.

Looks like a racepak, but i could be wrong. I really like the racpak myself, but it is pricy.

here is mine, I made the gauge pod for the ac vent along with the sides to angle toward the driver out of some sheet metal, instead of buying them on summit or whatever. I posted before it was in the car, looks a lot better in the car with the gauges in it. Also my new sbc i-color boost controller, man I love that thing!

Working on finishing this up, need to shave the back down some so it clears the ac controller, but overall I'm happy with the outcome. Was a pain in the ass to build though.

Finally got a chance to finish it off, I was waiting for a certain part to come in to complete it... But i didnt end up getting it so I just finished the cluster as is..

All I could want from my cluster, well maybe a boost gauge..

Wide band installed

LED Back Lit

Testing it out in a dark room, its okay... could be brighter, may take it a part to add a couple more LED's

I hope the wide band still works its been sitting in my room for months with out a shell..

That's a stack, and it doesn't plug into your ecu, it has it's own analog inputs for sensors as far as I know.

Pegasus - Stack ST8100 Custom Pre-Configured Dash Kit

ST8100

No good videos of one though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdDKL1tyI8Q

The cheapest one seems to be the MyChron MXL Strada at 1000 bucks and some change.

Pegasus - MyChron MXL Strada High Performance Digital Dash

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aBOACF4IRM

the racepak IQ3 is plug and play, you can add extra sensors to it for about 250 a pop. But out of the box it's ready to go, it measures your speed by gps (comes with gps sensor.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4kBoK_1xX8

Racepak Data Systems - Professional Motorsports Data Acquisition Systems

This is how my dash should look once I am done buying everything....

Here is the Defi Super Sports Cluster, with integrated boost gauge, I think this would be an ideal set up but fuck if anyone would know how to install it much less I am afraid to even know it's price tag.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsI2ZgRmvFg

and there ya have it.

Remember this is without Sensors. AIMs look really good for their price but then you're looking at 700-1500 in sensors...

Same deal with the racepak... it's like 1500 for the unit. But it's 250 a sensor, which seems ideal since it's like 250 for a gauge of the same function. boost, water temp, oil p, oil t, voltage, etc.

Here is an updated pic of my setup, with the new AEM wideband installed. I am going to switch the wideband face to black which matches better. I posted earlier, but was incomplete. Right now I am waiting on a new gauge cluster with led backlights and a carbon fiber face.

i have a question, I see alot people put gauges where the middle air vent at, Does that make the a gauges heat up w/ hot air? Isn't it gonna ruin the gauge?

I would say that 90% of the people, such as myself, that are using ac vent gauge pods do not have ac nor heat. All of my A/C and Heater components have been removed.

most people are making there on, as I posted earlier i made mine out of sheet metal using a hole saw, then sprayed it with a texture coating. It was extremely easy. They do sell them made out of CNC billet though and they are really nice, just more expensive.
