SR low dyno number and weird afr

I went to the dyno a couple of days ago and my numbers were not what I would have expected. My setup is a basic sr swap with just simple bolt ons. I'm running 13 psi untuned. I have a hks actuator and a turbosmart manual boost controller. I am going to elminate the turbosmart boost controller but I did not have the time yet. Basically my first run was looking good until it hit 5000 rpm. My second graph shows my first run vs my last run and as you can see my power dropped significantly. It seems like when I hit 5k, I am running way to rich which is robbing the motor of power. I believe I should be arounds 12s after 7psi hits. I know this can probbaly be fixed if I were to get the car tuned but if there is still something broken then it would just be bandaid. Can this also cause it to bog after continuous runs? I am totally stumped. If someone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly apprciate it.

What I tried:
-replace bov
-perform boost leak test and found a leak on the core replaced IC
-changed plugs from bkr5e to bkr6e gapped to 0.28
-replaced cts
-tried 2 different MAFs
-tried 2 different o2 sensors
-no codes on ecu

My setup
sr20det /w t25 @13psi
Hybrid front mount
hks actuator
turbosmart manual boost controller
Greddy rs bow
circuit sport elbow
rsr ex-mag exhaust
ngk bkr6e gapped 0.28

What the heck are you expecting. Stock turbo, stock cams on a redtop, those are completely normal... What you expect 300HP? On a dynojet, those are about the correct numbers lol.

5k RPM is when the turbo drops off = normal.

12 AFR on an SR is pretty lean actually and would cause knock, but as people would say that would depend on your ignition timing as well. Ignition timing blows engines, but if you run lean like at 12, then it will blow too as well. It looks normal, don't expect too much from a Stock redtop.

Get some colder plugs, BKR7EY. Just a side note.

If your car runs good then I'd suggest getting a tune. At least get an adjustable FPR and a SAFC. You'd be amazed at how much better the car will run with a good tune. I wouldn't be surprised to pick up 20+ hp on a stock motor. I can't see your dyno chart from work.

I was expecting something around 230-240 because thats what other 240s with the same setup made in the past according to the place I went to. And it was around the ball park of how much my friend made with the same setup. Is it normal that it dropped about 20 whp on the third run? By the last run it peaked at like 180.

Yup, sounds like something was overheating.... Probably air temp and lack of airflow you lose hp if the air isn't being fed to the motor. Remember you didn't rebuild it and its a 10+ year old engine. Don't expect it to run the greatest... All motors are different.

It will do it even when the car is moving. I can floor it, build boost and go no where. Grandmas can even pass me. This usually happens after I do a couple of highway pulls.

Anything over 12 AFR under full boost is baaaaaaaad juju. Kick the boost down or start saving money for some nice rod bearings. Assuming you dont melt the piston first...

since your running lean slap a adj fpr on it. would add more fuel thru out the map but you might gain that extra power your looking for. or you could stop being cheap and do it the right way.

Have you checked your Fuel Pressure? Have you noticed the car running better with a full tank of gas? Mine was very sluggish up top, and it was due to my old pump on its way out... only pumped 30lbs w/out vacuum.

hm I see. I'm under 12 on full boost so i guess i'm good for now. The darker line is the afr and the lighter is the boost.

I thought I was running rich which is normal since i'm untuned. My main concern is the consistancy between each run. If the powerband was almost the same on each run then I can get it tuned and call it a day. But the power dropped so much by my 3rd run which makes me question if something is wrong. In other words, I dont want this to happen while i'm getting it tuned then there wont be a point in getting it tuned in the first place if my pulls are different each time.

I'm running a walboro fuel pump. The car feels the same when its on a full tank.

The car is just getting super hot.

That is how they make hp gains with K/N's and other stuff. Run the car cold, you get a solid dyno.

Get the car hot as hell, you get less numbers.

I would take the boost down to 10psi.

Colder plugs.

Nice aluminum Rad, oil cooler, bleeding system, fans, ducting etc.

Seems pretty normal to me. The other guys had some good sugeestions by getting the SAFC and a FPR. As far as the power i drop i think your killing your t25. 13psi on a t25 all day longs seems like strech. Maybe your turbo is crapping out.

Would running colder plugs cause me to run more rich? I'm already running a koyo aluminum rad and fans.

Yea I'm going to back it down to 10 psi and hit the dyno again to see if theres still such a big power drop. If its good then I'm going to get it tuned.
