Must admit, I hated the shape when I first saw them, but they've grown on me

30 vs 40mpg and a few grand less (entry models) is what's keeping me looking at the Mazda 3

also the fact that the 4wd models are all automatics

this sounds like the best plan. ive driven a 2010 Mazda3 many times. they are fun, handle great and are very comfortable. now with the Skyactiv engine it has the MPG to be a great DD. i also used to own a Mazdaspeed3, they are really fun too. just a tad too much power for FWD.

i just sold my Evo X and bought a non turbo Veloster. now im looking into getting an S13 for fun.

I test drove the skyactive and liked it
it's a solid chassis, comfortable but doesn't drive like a couch

how do you like the Veloster so far?
all the reviews I've read seem to think it isn't as fun to drive as other cars in its class.
