I have Crown Victoria Rims i just installed the 5 lug conversion with j30 brakes but i also have the z32 brake conversion laying in the garage. I was wondering what spacer i would need to run in order to clear the z32 brakes up front and would they clear the rear z32 brakes.
the crown vic rims look really good i just want to run z32 brakes under them

Don't think they will, i have a mx83 with z32 brakes and was looking for Vic rims and read they don't clear without a spacer so i bought some cobra reps instead.

I also forgot to add i have widebody fenders in the front. i know that the front will clear because i used 2x 7mm slip on. just for to see if they clear. but what im wondering is if the rear will fit without a problem and without using slip on spacers

I would say maybe a 15mm to barely clear the 26mm calipers.

I have J30 brakes and they just clear the wheel by like 2mm

most wheel/tire/alignment shops carry cheap slip on spacers
buy a bunch of 5mm ones and stack till you get your answer
the spacers will come in handy as you ponder the same question with different wheels in the future.


ps - don't run the cheap spacers, make sure to use quality concentric ones

This. It's easy to say "Shit, well the wheel fits right now with this stack of cheap spacers, so I"m just gonna run with it." Keep in mind that your car/your safety is riding on these bad boys, so investing in a quality set is the best thing to do.

I think he was talking about just buying them for the sole purpose of "measuring" hence why he said that OP can use them on future wheels

or you can just use a piece of cardboard as a flat edge and a tape measure in stead of "stacking" spacers lol i would never run spacers without extended studs but hey everyone has their ways.

the Rear dont clear with Z32 brakes. with a 5mm spacer it cleared the rear. the front im getting some 20mm pbm spacers. and it should clear. once i get all of the fronts and rear situated i will take a picture and upload it
