Bought this nasty set of 16x9.5 +32 ARE 398 wheels on Craigslist recently. They had at least three layers of spray paint on them. Terrible.

I took them apart, stripped everything to bare aluminum, had the faces redrilled from 5x4.75 to 5x4.5, repainted the faces a dark metallic grey, cleaned the bolts with a few rounds of aircraft stripper, and refinished the lips with wetsanding polishing. They came out nicely.

Oh, by the way, I know this thread tends to be anti-ebay, buuuuuuuuuut I just came across these today.
- 15x9.5 +25
- 16x8.5 +0
- 16x9.5 +0
- Come in both 4-lug and 5-lug
- Range from $550 to $680 for a full set

Not half bad. *shrug*

Thanks!

They turned out pretty good. I'm not actually going to use them on this car though since they each take about 65mm worth of spacers to sit flush, haha. Not sure what I'm going to do with them.

My set will be here in 2-3 weeks. Silver/Silver 15x9.5 +25, running 215/60, just got my S13 back from paint and body. Flares on it now too.

NS had them tied up in Customs. Ordered mine from Spencer @

Those tires will look stupid. I'd personally do 195/55 but thats purely for looks. I wouldn't go larger then 205/55 which should look something like this

Or else your car will look like this, like your rollin' on balloons.

You can use this website for approximating stretch and fitment: http://www.willtheyfit.com/

Up to you though.

Thanks, it's not my ideal set up, but it was what came on the ZX wheels and they have a TON of tread left. So, sadly it is what it is... for now...

Here is what I am going from and to:

and your recommendation from the picture:

It will look a little "Balloon-esque"

*Changed wheel width for visibility
