Just throwing it out there.
This kids gonna get banned. Props for a sweet deal. Your love of hacking makes me sick though. I spend alot of time fixing other people's "hacks". Shit blows.

I try to look at Sillyvia's longer posts like Kerouac, they're written in stream of conciousness. True hack work annoys me as much as anyone, but his hackjob in that other thread was about as well done as what most people on here built/paid someone good money to do for them.
At least he's being honest about the quick and dirty stuff on here instead of doing like most people do and only photographing/talking about the nice parts they bought and ignoring the ghetto work holding the rest of their car together. That's one hell of a deal though. I need to find an SRed car for that cheap.

I don't shave on a regular basis, I've gone over 9 months without getting a haircut once (which was way too much as I looked like a Beatle) and I tend to be rather messy (which has been true throughout my life, even while a Marine). My mind is more open than you'd likely believe, and I'm sorry that you interpret my admonishment of your manner of communication and behavior while towing a car as some osrt of infringement of your life. I am, more than anything, trying to get you to stop behaving in that manner. I'm pretty much nice, but I have a hard time being nice to stupid people (or people who behave stupidly), especially on the internet. I won't be getting drunk anytime. I'm essentially a teetotaler, although I've made no such pledge to be such. I wouldn't say it's ok to hate more than love, per se - however, I do see the advantage in providing 'tough' love. That was a fucking book, and if you read it all, kudos to you.

as for tough love bro... You are speaking to a man who was rasied by that. 10 years in child youth services because my father was a chump and gave me and my sisters up for hard drugs and alcohol. from age 7 -17 I was in with scumbags who played lil games on younger kids...XXX and just plain scummy people who needed youth jail, I then was released and lived with my mom for 3 days, til her at that time boyfriend decided tough love would work on me and kick me out in winter in NH! I had a Military sleeping bag, down ftw. saved my life. I then said FUCK THIS FUCKING WORLD! and built my own reality. and I been happy since that day I was homless. I built myself up, I got a job being homless, building houses. I then got a place my 2 check. since then I have had a business, and many many great friends in my life. I have never told this story, but I think it may help people understand my harshness upon rude comments. I am a hippie at heart, PEACE AND LOVE MANN! only love will change the world. So MR MEPH! I love you man. Peace. now to all who have read both replies! dual kudo's to you! keep your heads up! I did and made it from the ghetto to the well, ionno what or where I am. but its better than where I been. |
