I wouldn't pay for restocking fee. Did you see the engine before you bought it? It is like buying a watch online that comes with a cracked crystal. You won't pay for a restocking fee for that.

$2000 for a clip is very low. It is either a really good deal or it is low for a reason.

Why would your "friend" charge you a restocking fee? The engine does look rough, but could still be in good shape. Although that is waaay too much for THAT motorset.
