I have an s14 and a sileighty. Not too worried about whether my cars are premium or not, they all drive the same and the cockpit view is a little too cluttered for me.

Easy money for me is the professional level on super car festival or what ever it is.. and do highland its 18k for 3 laps and there pretty short laps. Just from doing that for awhile and doing almost all the speacial events i got around 340k but i just spent almost all of it on a GTR spec v and mods for it. I was going to get the castrol toms supra. but even though im a fan of that car i never liked the fact it uses a 4 cyl.

I'm pretty sure the 4cyl. one is actually a Castrol Celica.

nah if you read the description on the castrol tom's supra it clearly states that even though the 3s-GT was only a 4 cyl it still produced 473 HP. They also did this on the trial supra but thats not in the game. I completely forgot about this when i was saving up and when i read about it. it refreshed my mind and im like dammit thats not what i want.

heres a quote from the description ( and lowering engine displacement to 2.0 liters to decrease weight. Still, the 3S-GT engine produced nearly 493 Hp.) Woops i put 473 in the last message.

whats the max power youre getting from the v spec? i bought the normal version and am only getting i believe 830 more or less. ive raced a few on special stage 7 or whatever and they beat me by 3-5 car lenghts. my cars fully modded.

thats around the same horsepower im putting out.... Im starting to mess around on expert and they still cant even keep up... on professional i was leading like up to 15 seconds and sometimes alot more. i was using the r33 and it was getting me pretty far but eventually there was the world cup race and this jag that i just couldnt pass for some reason. so when i got the GTR it was cake.

tunning is a big factor

Less horsepower, tuned suspension, better driver.

Maxing out a car will only make it un drivable. Car needs to be balanced.

My car is plenty drivable.. I have the car turning soo sharp. you have to have power to pull out of a turn to get away from opponents....Of course suspension set up but that wont mean anything if you dont have the power to push you out of the turn.

having a maxed out R35 is fun and i agree with you. so long as you tune the suspension, gear ratio, and the power output between the rear and front, the car will handle just fine. i like using the gtr for everything. drift, time attack, drag, you name it.

there is no youtube thing in the game, people record some other way and throw them up. But yeah i remember this game was suppose to have a youtube feature..

IMO they dont need it, youtube would get bombed with everyones GT5 videos lol

How come when you win the world championship it just starts playing the ending credits lol.. its like its not over yet but were just gonna play you the ending credits anyways.

We should have a S chassis car cruise, s13 s14 s15 180sx, sileighty, maybe some 240sr, to bad no s12 though. I think the OG silvia is in this? Have them all be stock, maybe intake and exhaust for the older S13s so they can keep up and have a track battle.

Big bad R35 Spec V got me 53.7 on Tsukuba. Im sure i can get it down a lil more too. Full hp mods but thats it for now..havent even lightned the car yet 0_0 and it shattered my R32 time. Oh and im on the medium race tires...not even the best tires.

Anyone having trouble in the special event with rally ? When ever i come into a turn and floor it out of it its like the car just bogs no matter how much i shift down and then suddenly the rpms go back up. its making me get bronze in every rally and even hard to get to the finish line in time...

^^ your traction control is too high, or the active stability is on keeping you from drifting..or both

I pre-ordered the game from gamestop a long while back. Even got the CE and they gave me no info on free cars. Wtf?

The booklet that came with it was very cool. Read the whole thing the night I picked up the game.

Still working out the kinks in my driving with the controller, but its a sweet game and my datsun is kicking serious ASS.

Did you look behind the game book in the case. That's where my card was with the redeem code for the downloadable cars for CE.
