Big bad R35 Spec V got me 53.7 on Tsukuba. Im sure i can get it down a lil more too. Full hp mods but thats it for now..havent even lightned the car yet 0_0 and it shattered my R32 time. Oh and im on the medium race tires...not even the best tires.

Did you calculate, force when braking at 67 mph in hairpin turn, while including the weight of the car? Have you driving the car in real life, on each track in the game?

I hate the whole forza vs gt5 thing, you like forza good It a LEGIT game. each game has their pros and cons. GT series is reaching it plateau after soo many game. the next few all it is a more polish version previous one, check call of duty series.

With that said, if you dont like the game please tell us why, and dont says physics that fanboy BS.

whats the max power youre getting from the v spec? i bought the normal version and am only getting i believe 830 more or less. ive raced a few on special stage 7 or whatever and they beat me by 3-5 car lenghts. my cars fully modded.

Less horsepower, tuned suspension, better driver.

Maxing out a car will only make it un drivable. Car needs to be balanced.

Someones always gotta different. In order to really get a driving game with real life type physics would make the cost of the game extremely high because engineers would actually have to work on the fluid dynamics, system dynamics, strength analysis and a lot more factors. Some people expect real life but don't have a clue as to how difficult that is to model.

Hell, real life physics isn't even perfection, it's just close enough values compared to real life.

to me, no console game will beat a PC sim, so yeah. But you do get your moneys worth from GT5 imo. It is entertaining, and not alot of my friends are into sim racing, but alot of them have a ps3 and this game, so I can race against them and have some good times.

I been reading the gtplanet forums and there are alot of guys who share that opinion about it not being too great.

Some think the game is not even finished... Sony probably told PD to push the game before thanksgiving just so they can get sales in.. and the PS3 is aging so they wanted to get it out while the ps3 is still at its peak.

No, I'm quite happy with GT5. You seem to be the only one mad about anything. If you don't like the game, go back to playing Forza, and GTFO.

My car is plenty drivable.. I have the car turning soo sharp. you have to have power to pull out of a turn to get away from opponents....Of course suspension set up but that wont mean anything if you dont have the power to push you out of the turn.

yea no race cars, just modded production cars! Even tho i ran the hks evo just for kicks and it couldnt get close.. I used the 09 gtr spec V to get those times. ^_^ give it a go! I used the controller tho, not cool enough for a g27

dam BriinumsBo, PD is more passionate about its game. I never really played Forza games, so i cant judge in that aspect, but seeing how fast they turned out their last game, kind of shows in the detail quality of it.


So i had traded a car to some guy on the gt forums for a ferrari 458 italia... As soon as I get it, i take it to GT auto, car wash, oil change... and I go to chassis maintenance.. freaking 141k credits to restore it!!!!! no wonder he traded it. hahahaha

Yeah I figured the price would go up a bit with the GT5 launch. There are people out there who will buy it at whatever the given price would be. My friend bought a G25 wheel from craigslist for $120 CND so there are still deals out there to be had
