Yeah, it's a 2mm jump, compared to a 1mm jump for every other size up...

I wasn't fresh out of the shower I don't think... I don't remember. But I did use tapers. I actually still have just the tapers in, because I haven't had the time to order plugs yet.

yeah its purple (pedals) inside is yellow

dont know what color yet for the other flowers, kinda wanna see how the purple takes to my skin tone though since i hear blue based colors tend to get "muddy" with darker skin tones

yes is a koi, the head comes up onto my shoulder

what I usually let people know is that skin is like tint. the darker you are...the more "tint" there is. Kinda like looking at something with sun glasses on. If you are going for a specific "purple" color...maybe go a couple shades lighter....I've done a few color tattoos on (no offense to anyone) black people.

And I would have to say if I didn't have such a heavy art background, I don't think it would have come out right. Instead of a dark purple...have him mix a bright blue, and a almost pinkish red....it'll give a heavy light purple.

This was a year or so ago...but it'll give you an idea.


I have also found that INTENZE ink puts down the brightest pigment in case he uses anything else. I'm no expert...nor do I have years of experience...but I have a heavy art background. Hope this helps a little.

im a 911 dispatcher....asking questions before or at the interview if they're gonna be a problem is always a must, i can cover my sleeve with a long sleeve button up, and ive had my piercings long enough that i can take/leave them out for up to 12-15hrs depending, without the holes closing

I work at a large digital agency, and wear short sleeved t-shirts no problems. I always keep my sleeve covered up for interviews though.

My workplace has a very relaxed dress code. If I worked where my GF works, I'm fairly certain I couldn't show any ink.

yea its amazing how many jobs you can actually get now with ink since its becoming so popular these days they dont judge you to to much anymore. as ong as its not like swasticas and stuff like that

I do work on the side....it is more of a hobby. Unfortunately I have a family to feed and bills to pay. So jumping into a shop that want's me to intern, vs working from home on my own schedule...well..it works out for me. I'm usually booked about 3 weeks right now, but people re-schedule, so it works out if people need work quick. Shoot me a pm...and I'll see what I can do.

I work in a corporate office. I wear shortsleeves, I have script writing all down my forearm. I know how to present myself, so I can tell them " I work at a desk, I'm professional over the phone and in my emails....would it matter if I was a different color? Then why would artwork on my arm make me less of a hard worker. Or allow me to perform at a different level."

when I do meet "people" face to face, it's usually by appointment only, and I can either wear a longsleeve button up, or they already know my work ethics. So it wouldn't make a difference if I had down syndrome, I still slang 100k in tires per month ;D

I have ink on my neck, 1inch plugs, ink on my thumb and I work for a legal litigation company, I always get weird looks when I have to talk to clients (usually old jewish lawyers) but once i get going and talking business they can careless.

I have a full sleeve (hand included), 2" plugs and other random stuff and have never had a problem finding real jobs. It really is all in how you talk and present yourself to people, just don't be ignorant about it. I'm currently a graphic designer and deal with multiple customers daily. Sure, I'm probably not the type of person they expect to meet. However I do my job and I do it well, so no complaints.

Know it's an old question, but my dress code requires me to wear a long sleeve shirt and tie anyways. Takes care of covering the full sleeve. Finger tats with bandaids, and I take out my bridge and septum rings every day before work and put them back in when I get off. I work in Safeway management. Vons to all you Southern Californians.
