Fucking gymnastics is rigged. Fei Cheng (China)
fell to her knees on the vault, yet managed to get
a score of 15.62, while Alicia Sacramone only did a hop,
but got 15.53, taking her off the medal podium. I'm glad
Bela Carolyi is lashing out about it, since all the journalists
are afraid of speaking out against China. Bela said that throughout
all the Olympics he's seen, he has never seen anything like this.

I watched that one. Bullshit. Anything with judges is rigged, they all hate us anyway and we are ignorant to think politics don't influence the scores. I will however admit that the american girls were sloppy in some of the events but this crap is ridiculous. The sports with timers etc are awesome because no matter how much they hate us...we still kick their asses and there is nothing the world can do about it

Man, IMO Russia did a better job in the W omen's all around Gymnastics. They should have gotten Bronze instead of China. At least they where STICKING there landings.

Béla Károlyi called the Chinese gymnasts "half people".

Cheng Fei had a much higher difficulty value than Sacramone (.7 of a point I believe) and that factors greatly into scoring, also since the FIG want to encourage harder routines and judge accordingly.

Take it for what its worth.

a .09 margin over someone who landed the vault and
did one hop, which is either a .1 or .3 deduction, depending
how big of a hop or step.

Nastia Liukin was ROBBED of the gold medal.
Absolutely ROBBED. Kexin and Liuikin had the same
start value, and final score, yet Kexin had absolutely
more noticeable errors then Liukin, including a not-so-perfect
dismount landing, where Nastia nailed hers. The damn tie-breaker
gave the gold to Kexin, and even though the tie-breaker awarded
the right person, it never should have been a tie in the first place.

Fuck the judging.

What I mean that, with the circumstances, the tie-breaker

For Liukin: 9.1, 9.0, 9.0. That equals 27.1. Divide that by three and it's 9.0333, the threes going out forever.

Thus she was second.
