Fuel pump doesn't pump?

I'm going back to NA after having a bad experience with KA-T...

I however cannot get the car to run, the fuel pump doesn't give the engine fuel.

I've checked for a visible clog in the rubber lines at the pump.

I've checked for visible clogs at the fuel filter.

BOTH of the lines going to the fuel pump are DRY

When the pump is NOT connected to the fuel lines, the pump doesn't even send fuel at all.

Is there a pressure system that helps the pump send fuel? Is it possible I got the fuel lines reversed?

My car has been down so long I may have possibly reversed the lines in trying to figure out this fuel pump problem.

HELP!

I have currently:

2 stock KA24DE fuel pumps

1 Walbro

2 Fuel Pump carriers.

The fuel pump primes/whines/clicks/vibrates or whatever.

I just can't get it to PUMP fuel.

I'm out of ideas.

Do you guys have anything?

I believe you can get the lines reversed. The line from the fuel filter should go to the line within the intake... and then the line from the FPR should go to the other line that re-routes back to the tank. Did you try and disconnect the line at the engine and just turn the pump on briefly? Better to do that with a buddy into a container...

My problem isn't my fuel pump NOT activating, it's the fuel pump ACTUALLY sending fuel.

I saw that thread and it didn't pertain to my situation.

take off the lines at the sender, and click the key on to see if its getting fuel out of the sender first.

Did you need to ID which line is which? Let me go look at my car.

^I'd agree.

Have you checked your fuel pump fuse?

What's the sender?

I'm not too experienced with touching power mods, and after failing at installing my turbo, and now failing just to get my car running I'm very hesitant to try it EVER again.

The sender is in the trunk, remove the cover with the 10mm bolts, then you will see the lines.

As John said. Take apart your fuel pump cover. take off the sender line.

Turn the key on. If gas squirts out. You should be good.

If no gas comes out..then you have a wiring problem or a shot Fuel pump..

Your ecu sends ground signal to your Fuel pump Relay (EGI)

Could be a simple case of your fuel pump going out. Or the motor on the pump.

I fixed it, I just soldered my Walbro back up and everything was peachy.

I don't know what the problem was nor do I care.
