headlights acting very strange

So last night when i went to turn on my headlights i noticed something odd. My drivers side light is really dim and it seems like m drivers side hi beam is part way on too but not at full birghtness. And on top of that my hi beam indicator light on my dash is also on too but it is very dim as wekk. when i put my hi beams on they both work fine. anyone know what this could be?

Check the connections to the light bulbs, sometimes if they are loose they will cause that problem. Also, when I first bought my s14 I noticed that one of the plugs was burned due to the previous owner installing some crappy high wattage pepboys lights. That could also be the problem.
