S14 wiper, intermitten and washer not working

I found this thread, and my car has the same problem..
But this thread had no answer..

My 1995 S14 seems to be having windshield wiper troubles and has had them since I got the car. Basically, it seems like the wipers will do nothing unless on the highest setting, in which case they will move very, very fast. If I turn it off of the highest setting then they stop in mid-stroke. I have to let them go and turn them off at the exact right time so they stop at their normal stopping position. Occasionally they will work like normal on all settings and return to their specified rest point, but this is rare and usually just for a few minutes before they start acting up again.

for mine, intermitten not working.. and washer fluid not working..
others working fine 'most of times'
I just got new switch and changed.. still the same..

any ideas?

It is the wiper stalk itself. I had the same problem with my 96 SE. Replace it, fixed.

It is what you use to turn on the wipers. Behind the steering wheel.

Try the windshield wiper amp. It's located behind the cruise controller under the hood. It's a little black box that controlles that intermitten setting and makes the windshield wiper go all the way down when you turn them off. As for the washer fluid it could be the switch or the pump on the side of the tank. I'm not sure on that on sorry.

It's the amp, very common to go out. Make sure you get the exact same unit, the 95-96 models differ from 97-98s, and the earlier ones also have a different unit for base and SE.
