Tuning with safc

i finally got my test pipe in and wideband (innovate lm1) and have been trying to tune my car the past few days. I know safc's arent the best tuning piggybacks, but maybe theres some setting i can do...
to start, im running a sr20de with a t25 setup, ecu is tuned with a stock sr20det map and safc ll
In first and 2nd gear, low-throttle (probably 0-22% throttle), the af from 1-4500 is just about perfect, right around 14.7
But as soon as i shift into 3/4/5 at that same rpm, it runs rich again, around 11.8 af

Im thinking it has to do more with the base tune on the ecu than anything else... but without retuning the ecu, is there a way i can use the safc to compensate for being so rich in higher gears?
Hi-Throttle tuning has been really easy, no problems at all... i have the throttle % point at 50%. Lo-Throttle is at 38%

im thinking i might try and get ahold of a stock se-r ecu and add fuel with the safc, im only running 370s, so atleast there is a good base map to follow. My friend followed this same idea when he upgraded to 550's and a gt2871r and tuning was a breeze

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
