s13 Crank angle sensor Problem in SR

hey guys just finishing installing my SR and i needed help with the timing. i bought a motor set and the crank angle sensor was out of its place. so i put it in there and the of course the timings off but i have another problem. it sounds that its coming from the CAS too. its ilke a griding sound. very faint but its there. can anyone tell me what it is? please HELP. if anyone wants to help me with timing im in pomona. THANKS GUYS!

you aren't suppose to just stick it in there. you have to put the motor at TDC, take off your valve cover and see how the CAS has 2 marks and 1 notch? well the you are suppose to lign up the mark on the right with the notch then when you put it in. the left mark is suppose to lign up with the notch. after that tighten everithing back up put on valve cover and your timing is suppose to be set. you might have to adjust it. so when car is runnign unplug TPS and set the timing 2nd mark from the right
