not really,i just bought the engine and the guy sent me a video file of it running.i was thinking that it may be a sticking lifter because it does it only when it is first fired up,after it gets warm it smooths out.and the engine runs a little ruff when it is cold also.

it can be the timing chain guides. then tend to make that sound. it is a very uncomfy sound
