dousan is dead on. Those are the two ways two tell. The earlier model zenki had the same s13 maf plug type. And the kouki had the hump plug used on most 96-98 Nissans. It really does'nt matter, they are both the same engines.

i see , because i have bought a s14 front clip before and the engine wasn't that good and it was from a 95-96 model because it still has the fenders on the clip so i can tell,and i just want to be more caution this time before getting it, because i haven't pick up the clip yet. also is 3380$ a good prices for the front clip? how can i tell if the engine is in good condition? what compression ratio it should has? thanks for any help.
