s14 I Need Help With My Z32 Brakes!!!!!

Car: 95 240SX

Okay lets see. It was time to replace my brakes right. I go ahead and do it and now the rotor scrapes on the the caliper. Its wierd though, it only happens when im turning. When I'm going straight its fine. But when I turn you can hear the grinding of the caliper on the rotor. Here are some pics for some better understanding. I bought the car with the current setup.

Here is where the caliper grinds on the rotor.

You can see where the rotor grinded on the caliper. On the outter edge.

The caliper bolts right up to the bracket with a 2mm?? washer between the caliper and bracket.

Here is pic of my old brake pads. Maybe this (the uneven wear) has to do something with whats wrong with it now. I dont know or else I wouldnt be posting this up. Thanks ahead of time for your time and help.

the washer was there when i took apart. So i just put everything back together the same way I took it off. So are you saying that there should or shouldnt be a washer between the caliper and bracket?

maybe you have 26 mm calipers with 30mm rotors. or 30 mm calipers with 26 mm pads. To me it looks like you've got a mismatch but I may be wrong.

yes. check for matching rotor and caliper. i bet it's not matching and that's why the spacer is there.

Everything seems to match. Well here is what I have. I got 28 mn thickness brembo rotors, and PBR brakepads.

Pads are all the same irrc. Running 26mm calipers on 30mm rotors will do that sort of thing.
