ive always wonder is it bad to adjust boost while driving, or should it be done at idle or something. just curious.

Nah its not bad, all its doing is adjusting vaccumm/pressure to the wastegate. There are boost contollers that have a electric controlled boost increase while boosting. so maybe it starts out high and ends up low, or vise versa. Your cool

i dont have a turbo car so i wouldnt know for sure, but i think you would have to adjust fuel and timing if it was for higher boost. Or else your engine is going ot blow up

well, if your venereal wire isn't hooked correctly... you're right big guy. adjusting boost without adjusting fuel and timing would be like a nitrous explosion.

what..huh? Im just saying that if you add more boost, which adds more air, you would have to add more fuel and change the timing.

well yes and no. You only up the boost if you can. As in, if you have room on your injector to do so. As in Duty cycle. Timing is a whole different subject. Adjusting boost from 7psi and 14psi wont affact much of the timing. How ever the car is tune, it should be fine.

If your car can handle a 7-10PSI increase when you stop, then your car can handle a 7-10PSI increase while rolling. It doesnt do anything but alter line pressure against a tensioning spring i.e your wastegate
