Yeah, a few weeks back Im driving home from Dallas and its pitch black out on I-35W when I see a Jeep Cherokee which is about 10 car lengths ahead of me drive over something.  He didn't swerve, didn't hit the hazards, didn't do anything.  So it wasn't until the HUGE piece of tire in the road was 1 milisecond away from being hit and I just gritted my teeth and hit it full on.   <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':nervous:'>

God it SUCKED.  Thank god I had a stuck bumper.  It marked it up pretty nicely.  Two days later I totaled the car...go figure.

You can see the tire mark in the lower drivers side mouth of the bumper.
