you more than likely jsut have an exhasust leak befor ethe turbo

you already answerd that yourslef, that is a super common problem with the turbo to manifold flange. The bolts probally came lose and now it leaks, that gives you all the symptoms you have stated.

your gettin like a screamin scraping type noise right? if so thas a definate turbo to manifold gasket on the way out ,bin a culprit twice. bought a spare turbo because of that shit come to find out it was the damn gasket.
