Port and Polish
has anyone ever prot and polish thier own intake manifold or head. i have all the tools to do it but i would like some suggestions. i'm going to port and polish my stock SR manifold then my Greddy intake manifold and then the head.

so you have access to a flow bench and tons of time for r&d? without access to a flowbench you are probably wasting time and actually decreasing flow. you do not want to polish your intake manifold runners because you will loose all your turbulence and at the same time make the a/f mixture not as mixed and vaporized. the only thing you want to polish is your combustion chamber to reduce the chances of getting hot spots from carbon build up. port matching on the other hand is benifcial.
