thanks any help is appreciated |

yes, I'd like to know the same thing. I've got a set of Sportlines sitting in my race shop right now waiting to be popped on, but no one can tell me if i'll need a camber correction kit. I've got a '92 S-13.
btw nismos14, sportlines are 2.4 front, 2.2 rear for an S13. The pro-kit is 1.8 drop, my buddy has them on his '93 240 and they barely help that hideous wheel well gap. -Ben

I had those springs on my 240. IMO Save yourself a lot of trouble and get a camber kit installed too. You'll notice a big change in handling initially but it'll gradully fade if you dont go with a camber kit.

Well theres two type of camber kits but the type you'll find most likely is the screw(?) type. Its been awhile but its only like $20 bucks for the front set and it just helps pivot the angle more so then stock. I just went with front set. $20 for the "kit" and probably 80 I think for the install and alignment.

Yea, just depends on how much exp. you have. IMO id just take it to the shop cause you're gonna need to get it aligned with the kit on there too. But if you think you can do a flawless job of installing it then go for it. Dont delay on the kit though, I lagged and thats what cost me my car.

Just cause I should have done it when I lowered my car. I went through my set of tires in about 4-5 months. Got new ones and ate those up in 3-4 months. All I had to do was pay a fraction of the amount for a camber kit at the beginning.

i'm getting some pretty bad negative camber in the rear as well, do you guys know if i can adjust it? My mechanic suggest i needed new struts (I'm getting new struts when I install my springs), just wondering what my options are.

Nope I was using stock shocks. Well the front and the rear are adjustable but when the cars lowered theres only so much you can do. but yea 3 degrees is a lot. If you're in South CA let me know and I'll give you the info. on the shop I went too.

yah, i installed my tokico heavy duty blue shocks and pro-kit eibach springs about 2 months ago, did the alignment about 1 month ago, DISCOUNT TIRE CENTER in SoCA told me my camber is "bad", new ones would cost $350!! WTF ...so i didn't do anything, but later on i asked my mechanics "N&J"'s Jackson, he said $150 will do, BUT THE FACT IS I HAVE ALREADY SPENT $50 for ALIGNMENT in DISCOUNT TIRE CENTER!!! i'm off -2.1 left, -1.9 right .......but they sell EIBACH Adjustment KIT for around $40 on autocarparts.com ...so i DON't KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW!!!! HELP!!

haha calm down. Well what kind of camber kit is the Eibach adj. kit? Most likely its screw type again (the other kit is usually in the 100+ range and havent seen one yet for the 240) So you can go with the Eibach kit or get the kit somewhere else for about $15-20. Just get it installed and your car realigned and everything should be ok <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

www.tirerack.com has the eibach alignment kit. might be around $25 though.
Do you guys know if the negative camber problem on the rear tires I'm getting is due to the worn struts? I'm going to be lowering my car with sportlines/koni yellow combo, but I'd like to find out whats wrong with the rear for sure. I trust my mechanic, but I was wondering if you guys had this same problem and if you have corrected it.
