Power Steering Cooler....YAY OR NAY

Running 255/35/18 front tires. Will be tracked.

Should i run a P.S. cooler? Are the nissan ps units pretty durable and cool or not?

Anyone else run a cooler and if so, how and what?(thinking of just looking for the smalles oil cooler they sell at pep boys(50 bucks)... How/what did you use for the hoses and connectors? thanks in advance for any info.

all Dual Cam KAs and SR equipped Schassys come with factory cooler. its that long silver hard line that runs along the crossmember. i have never heard anyone have issues with it and none of the drift cars seem to have it so i think you will be ok. altho i'd like to hear other peoples opinions on this since i will be running 245 35 18 s up font next week.

I'm running a low profile frame mount style cooler, only because I deleted the OE cooling line. I think it looks cleaner that way, and as with any older car the OE line gets caked with oil over time (if the car isn't well kept), decreasing it's cooling abilities, this way it's always free and clear from debris.

What is the best way to install the cooler? In place of the stock one or in the reservoir return line? What are the fittings on the stock cooler?

For 50 bucks, I am thinking about getting one also. You can never beat additional cooling. +1 for a power steering cooler.

uhhhh.

Run no PS cooler. have fun with ATF all over your engine bay.

don't run any PS cooler that nissan intended to be a PS cooler the suck. 15in of tube is not a cooler.

Go get a trans cooler of some kind.

line it between the rack return and the ps resivior.

Can someone post up their custom PS setups? I've never seen anything but factory lines on a S chassis.
