reeeely. has anyone seen this video (i'm bein sarcastic)
everyone has their theories about this. either type r's run 14 flat from the factory, the type r was modified, or the silvia driver was having a bad day.

some of those videos are funny, the drivers always have wierd ass expressions on thier face when they get overtaken. IIRC the MR-2 beat an RX-7, i didn't know they could but I guess I put the RX-7 on too high of a pedastool. Still love both cars though. Anyway vids like those aren't always accurate becuase of difference in driver skill. Unless one of the cars gets killed there is always a chance for both cars.

You are making assumptions.... People will often lable videos that are untruthful... Did they lift up their hoods engines in the video and take their engines apart and show that everything was stock? I doubt it. And even so what is to say that it wasnt the drivier that caused the outcome. Don't trust the internet videos...Trust the numbers.

A magazine in Hong Kong compared them, stock to stock, the S14 would win if it's not a very long race, ITR has a higher top speed, but S14 has turbo.

Isn't that the same people who raced the AWD Skyline against an NSX. ANd the NSX launched off the line much better than the skyline?
doesn't that say something about these videos and there drivers?

Of course it's real, you saw it.
The question is were they both really trying to win? I mean come on, the metro is one of the biggest lemons out there. Sure they get 400mpg but they have like 3hp and after the hamster under the hood gets tired it's down to like 1.5hp and .4ft lbs of torque.

I'm no Honda fan but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one and say it was set up or even rigged.
Just my onion,
Starlin

drag race, nothing new....
240SX will sure beat ITR easy when turns
if you don't think so, ask Tsuchiiya Keiichi, the most powerful Japanese driver in Japan, i believe, he will tell you FR - S14, NOT FF - ITR . I know ITR is a very good FF, S14 is even better. Don't doubt. But if i had chance to get ITR and S14(US Version for both), i would definitely get ITR!!! hahahaha
WHY?? because ITR is worth more than its retail price now, so i will SELL THE CAR!! THEN BUY S14 KOUKI, drop S14 engine, FIX ALL THE UP!!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHHA, MUWAHAHAHAHAAH my evil plan.

wow, so people in this forum now speak for others in Japan? We had a big debate on the ITR v. S14 video a while ago. Best Motoring times are very sketchy at best. Someone mentioned the MR2 v. RX7 video earlier. I was hoping they would point out BM's inconsistency but they believed what they say! The MR2 ran a mid 13 I believe and the FD ran a 14.4. By using common sense its very easy to tell something wasn't right with that run. Watch the video again, watch the way the RX7 jerks on the 1st to 2nd shift and try and tell me that was an optimal run.
BTW- The S13 and S15 are both favored over the S14 as far as drifting.
