Project: Brown Bomber

Well, my mom drives this 85 buick skylark. Its a horrible machine, rusted out and ....... SHIT BROWN!!

She kept bitchin about it, so I finally took her to Napa, she picked a color and the project began.

Sanding and filling the rust and dents, priming and sanding (3 times) and finally paint (4 coats) of metalic steel blue.

It hasn't had a final polishing and buffing yet, but lemme know what you guys think <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Pretty damn clean job...the color isn't really my taste, but who gives a shit. &nbsp;Looks a hell of a lot better than the previous brown. &nbsp;Job well done...*starts slow clap*. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I would not recommend painting your whole car if you do not have experience with painting. You will also need an air compressor and paint shooter for this job. I would not recommend Duplicolor.

Just save up your $$$ and get a paint job then. A quality job makes a big difference. I'll bet his MOM's car will probably start to fade after 3yrs. (Not ragg'n on that guys mom.) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>
