Kouki (Sr20det) ECU Compatiblity
Long story short. Did swap, car did not run after swap even before ECU got fried, had fuel, but no spark, ECU got fried (MAF wires touched), ECU got repaired, don't know if ECU got fixed right. My question is.....
Is it possible to use another ECU besides a Kouki S14 Sr20det, I've tried all over and they are almost impossible to find. I plan on going Standalone later (maybe even MSII), but right now I just want it to run. Are they any ECU's that will get the car running (ie SE-R, Zenki Sr20det, ect), even if I have to repin the harness? Car is in OKC right now. |

Kouki is a 3 row harness connector. Zenki and most others are 2 Row. The only thing you can use is a Kouki ECU unless you get a Zenki ECU connector and re-pin the whole connector or get a Zenki harness and ECU.
My be a good time to invest in a power FC. But I would see if the replacement works.
