For more pictures or questions
I will not ship the car, if you want it, come bring cash, and drive it home
Please do not contact me if you live out of the county
CASH ONLY or possibly paypal if you pay the extra % they charge
Thanks for looking

http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/maine_240_sx
is my Ebay feedback link, although id rather not sell through Ebay for a Car
too many dead bidders and scammers on larger money items

The Good:
95 Nissan 240 sx Auto with 140k miles
Clear title, 98% mod free, original parts and paint
Maroon in color, gray cloth interior is a 9.5 out of 10
body and underneath is solid and rust free
Car is not the SE model, but it does have from the factory
a power moon roof, and ABS Brakes, and power windows locks, cruise control

The only 2 items on this car that are not original are
Last year I had AGX GR2 adjustable struts put in on all 4 ends
(you can adjust the stiffness of your car just by twisting Knobs on the rear, and pop the hood and use a screwdriver on the front)
The car also has brand new upgraded brakes all 4 wheels
(drilled and diamond slotted magnesium coated rotors)
Other then that, the car is 100 % original

The Not So Good:
The right headlight is currently a dim lit, but I might throw a new bulb in as when I leave work its starting get darker earlier and earlier.
There is a dent in the front hood where the previous owner’s father bumped the car in the driveway.
The paint on the car looks quite good, other then the clear coat on the trunk is peeling
There is also about a 2 ½” long crack in the front bumper (easily fixed)
There is one tiny ding on the passenger side rear (half the size of a dime)
You only notice it if you look down the lines of the car.
The exhaust is also original, and will need to be replaced to pass the next inspection.
The motor burns/ leaks a little bit of oil. I end up adding ¾ of a quart over 5-6k Miles

So, what’s really not too bad about the not so good
Is that all the things that are not so good about it, all go away with the mods that just about anyone would be planning to do on this car.
Body kit and Carbon fiber hood, fixes the hood, and the craked bumper
Of course you are going to get it painted, so you have the minor ding filled in and paint the car. Now the clear coat trunk problem goes away.
And you are either going to swap in a SR20, RB20 25, 26, 2JZ or rebuild build the motor and put a Phat KA turbo kit on it (yes the KA can make 500-600 HP)
(http://www.ka-t.org/ "The Home of 700+whp 9sec Turbo KA's".
So the motor getting tired problem goes away, and if you are swapping a motor, you will also be getting a manual tranny at the same time, if that’s your thing. And with a new motor, comes a new exhaust, so there you go.

I bought this car to use as a platform for an RB26, 2JZ, or KA-T swap. After a year and a half of research, It has become apparent to me that the 2JZ swap is the best thing to do.
I planned out everything I was going to do, but ended up using this car as a daily driver
( I still am driving it daily right now) I ended up working on my Conquest TSI as my project car, and just driving the 240. Winter is coming and I need $$ and wont be driving the 240 anyways in the Maine snow so the car needs to go. Ive put to much time and $$ in my Conquest to sell that right now, and I need a different car for winter.

Just to give you an idea of what can be done to this car for what I think is a super good deal, check out these links

Forget all the other swaps you have heard of, by next year the only thing people will be talking about is 2JZ-GTE swapped 240’s.

This is exactly what I was going to do to this car.
2jz swap with a TH400 Turbo tranny with Auto/Manual Shift ( you drive it like and auto if you want, but for drag racing or fast driving, you shift it like a manual but no clutch)

There are more and more places to do the 2JZ swap all the time, here are 2 of the better shops/ deals I’ve found http://www.2jzswap.com offers a do it yourself kit for 1500 dollars. This includes mounts cross members and driveshaft. For the do it yourself type of person, you can souce your own motor from and Aristo for 1800 – 2000 delivered with the auto tranny. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1646&rd=1&rd=1

For 1000 more you can get the R154 5 speed tranny and put it all together. Or if you like the auto/manual idea, you can buy a built TH400 Tranny for 500 – 1000 that are built to hold 700 HP.
Heres an adapter Plate. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2324&rd=1&rd=1
Heres some transmissions http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...6692&rd=1&rd=1
Or http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5531&rd=1&rd=1
Buy some piping and an intercooler, and wire it all up. Cost installed 5- 6000 or less if you have some connections and friends to help you out.

Or for the lazy way out http://www.mainstreamperformance.com/ is now installing the 2JZ-GTE motor in your 240 turn key for 8000 bucks dynoed and out the door!
Show up with your stock 240, and a week later drive it away
below is the stage 1 package that is 8000 dollars.

We use JDM motorsets that average 30-50k miles. We add
the 5 speed tranny.

We dont offer anything for DIY, we do everything in
house.
Our Stage 1 package consists of:

2JZGTE Motorset
5 Speed tranny conversion
TDF Motor Mounts
TDF Wiring harness
TDF driveshaft
Front mount intercooler and piping
3in Exhaust with Apex muffler
Super AFC
Manual Boost controller
Boost cut defender
Grand Total for a 2JZGTE swap Installed an out the
door with Dyno
$8000
it will make 330-350whp/330-350TQ

This is what I was planning with the GM adaptor and a TH400 Tranny
This setup can not be beat for the ultimate bang for your buck street car.
